Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy. Light and delicate. Floral. Sweet peas, wild rose. Opens on slightly sour fruit. The sour edge is swept out by vanilla and custard.
Palate: Drier than expected. Very lively and refreshing. Cooked apples and pears. Almond and apricot pudding. Quite fizzy. Water soothes the feel down.
Finish: Steady, dry, quite lingering.
Comment: Kicking up your heels as well as soothing. To be sipped far from the city buzz.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Light, slightly volatile estery and youthful. Dilute lemon and ginger cordial. With water there's dried banana chips and some fragrant floral aromas.
Palate: Clean lifted and perfumed. Elderflower. Quite lacy and fragile.
Finish: Vanilla and then the ginger returns.
Comment: A lovely very summery aperitif.
