Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Lovely, mature, dusty oak and barley is balanced by a thread of lithe gooseberry and lime. Fragrant apricot, toasty oak, vanilla and subtle mineral notes appear with time.
Palate: Creamy oak and mature tropical fruit (apricot, banana, melon). Luscious and juicy but the citrus and mineral notes add a touch of austerity.
Finish: Long and succulent with the mature oak returning; citrus and minerals.
Comment: An exceptionally well-crafted vatted malt with a lovely balance of maturity and youth.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Ah, we have that wonderful mix of spices and citrus notes. Think of lemon sherbet and liquorice, a classic combo. Also hints of grapefruit and green apple sours.
Palate: The green apple cuts through the palate with more of the sherbet coming in at the back. This fizzes away in the best possible way, like a Blanc de Blanc.
Finish: It’s still fizzing; I love the way whisky can do this. Lemon sherbet again.
Comment: Like a kid in a candy shop, this is old school Tangfastics.
