Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rich and mellow. Honey, toffee, sultana alongside walnut, nutmeg and dry, biscuity malt. Succulent and spicy, gentle yet complex.
Palate: Very sweet to start but immediately balanced by ginger and nutmeg spiciness, soft fruit (apricot, banana) and dried fruit (date). Superb balance.
Finish: Soft, tobacco.
Comment: Rounded and elegant, this is one hell of a dram from a hell of a manager.
8.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Perfumed candles. Wax. Smoke. Joss sticks. Spicy.
Palate: Oily, creamy, malty. Develops the typical cereal-grain character of Glen Moray. Drying.
Finish: Slightly sharp. Provocative.
Comment: The aromas remind me of a young woman I tried to bed in the early 1970s. She bit my tongue when I did something to offend her feminist ethic.
