Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Coal dust and vanilla. Some grapefruit and wax candle with Dream topping at the back.
Palate: Lemon and smoke, a smoked whisky sour, chamois leather, fresh cut pine and some tar notes, in a warming, welcoming way.
Finish: Hot spices of fennel and red chilli.
Comment: A warm peaty dram for a wet spring evening.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy and citrussy. Light, revealing a young age. Tangerine, lemon biscuits. A gentle floral note of gorse that a dash of water enhances.
Palate: Smooth and satin-like. Sweet, refreshing. Aniseed (dill seeds) with a pleasant creaminess.
Finish: Sweet, drying on candied ginger, with a nutty aftertaste of fresh crushed hazelnuts.
Comment: A pleasant dram which needs more years in the cask to give the full measure of its aromatic profile.
