Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Warming radiators, candy floss, fruity salad, glacé cherries and a touch ofdark soy sauce.
Palate: Big and bold, toffe and hazelnuts with dried fruits and raisins.
Finish: Brief but quite engaging.
Comment: A lovely example of twist from the original. One request: set it free fromthe distillery please.

Taster Gavin D. Smith

Nose: Initial copper notes, briefly sweetening with spun sugar. Then intensifying todark chocolate.
Palate: Substantial in the mouth, with caramel and dry sherry.
Finish: Shorter than expected. Fruitier with water though.
Comment: A decent addition to the Famous Grouse flight.
