Tasting notes
Taster   David Robertson
Nose: Very rich dried fruits, resinous spice. Complex.
Palate: Woody. Dried fruit. Deep resinous spice. Mouth feel is viscous, syrupy and oily.
Finish: Rich wood with resinous spice.
Comment: For a 60 Years Old whisky it still displays fresh vigorous vitality.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Medicinal, fig-like, peaty, oaky.
Palate: Dried fruits, very dry and concentrated. Rooty, liquorice-like. Treacle-toffee. Molasses.
Finish: Liquorice-toffee. Cedar. Oak. Heavy wood.
Comment: A privilege to taste such an old whisky but I just cannot handle such woody astringency.
