Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant to start, then becomes increasingly oily and rich: cloutie dumpling, cooked fruits, spices, syrup; then saddle soap, coffee, nut and light camphor.
Palate: Generous, thick and smooth with an oily feel and overall sweetness. Golden syrup.
Finish: Nutty and oily. Empire biscuits, almond.
Comment: It ain't subtle, but it's well worth trying.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Beeswax. Flowery.
Palate: Orange flower water. Jaffa Cakes. Good malt background.
Finish: Cocoa powder.
Comment: A nostalgic reminder of the Lomond still, though I had forgotten it could produce such sweet whisky.
