Tasting notes
Taster   Charles Montanaro
Nose: Orange and lemon peels, a whiff of freshly mowed grass leading into a honey treacle, a lush sweet feeling.
Palate: The citrus strikes back, gorgeous assertive orange with delicate spices, cinnamon, flash back to drinking fino sherry, an elegant balance with no notes being out of frame and a slight pleasant sourness.
Finish: Long, round and discreet. A definite feel of sherry finish with hazelnut and a lovely dryness.
Comment: Great, floral, citrusy, nutty, an amalgam of flavours which do not supersede each other. I would gladly indulge in some more.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Manurey, straw-like marc aromas with a hint of cold tea. Herbal with apricot, banana and some coffee. The fruit becomes more oxidised and a Manzanilla sherry note comes through.
Palate: A little hard with plenty of coffee, herbs, dried grape and green nuts. Quite full with damp straw and grappa-like notes on the middle, a touch of white liquorice.
Finish: Good length, if a little drying with those grappa-like notes lingering along with a light vanilla note.
Comment: Lacking a little bit of sweetness to balance the spirit character. Ex-Manzanilla sherry finished perhaps?
