Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Wonderfully fresh and clean but not without character: grassy malt and crushed pine nuts. Mouth-wateringly beautiful.
Palate: Drier on the palate, the vanilla bites early but is still unable to dampen that succulent grassiness.
Finish: Finely balanced but frying with oaky-cocoa notes. Very long finale.
Comment: Impressive, smokeless and delicate for its age. A finely tuned malt.
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Peatier.
Palate: Firmer. Green, oily, becoming dry and leafy.
Finish: More assertive pepper and mustard.
Comment: The most oily of the three, and very assertive in the finish.
8.3
