Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A full malty, slightly abrasive nose.
Palate: Initially hot as the nose suggests, then fades as a sumptuous wave of grassy, sweet malt.
Finish: Drier with some bitter chocolate notes.
Comment: Massive by Tamdhu standards. Brilliant and lingering interplay between cocoa and malt.
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Peaty. Slightly woody. Cereal grain. Apples.
Palate: Oily. Sweet. Fruity. Pears in rich syrup.
Finish: Fruity. Perfumy. Spicy (cloves?). Drying.
Comment: Judging from the very pale colour, the wood did not have much positive input. Hence, perhaps, the lack of Tamdhu's sometime elegance.
7.3
