Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Assertive maltiness with cooked apple, sweet hay and an intense fragrant/perfumed lift. Delicate but seductive.
Palate: A sweet, perfumed start then that dry malt/nut cuts through to balance well. Some smoke.
Finish: Dry, hay like. Crisp malt.
Comment: A gorgeous, refreshing summery glass.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Soft. Fresh. Heather. Grass. Sweet. Vanilla. Oak.
Palate: Very malty. Cookie-like. Pale toast. Very dry. Some bitter-orange marmalade.
Finish: Cereal grain. Some peat. Earthy.
Comment: The confident virtues of a good Speyside whisky: malt, heather and peat. Well-combined but without either refinements or flourishes.
