Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Plenty of crunchy grain at first, Granola and almond milk, a few spices lurk, cumin and nutmeg. Hot wax and a little smoke, then the oak makes itself known with vanilla cream pastries and coconut.
Palate: Flows from the nose with the oak taking over at first with dried coconut, then the spices prickle before that smoke note wraps everything up.
Finish: Short and sweet, a little honey lingers.
Comment: A simple and straightforward enough whisky, the smoke teasing the palate just a little.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: A bowl of cereal with dehydrated raspberries and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Strong sulphur characteristics on the nose yet there is chocolate, coconut and key lime pie.
Palate: The palate is surprisingly diluted and shies away, yet hints of overripe banana skin, pineapple juice, damp cardboard, sautéed red cabbage and oversoaked red lentils appear.
Finish: Abrupt, uncomplicated and to the point.
Comment: Like chilling out at breakfast in a potting shed.
