Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Ripe nectarine, aloe, and a whiff of eucalyptus, before concentrated apple and grape juice, with a squeeze of lemon. Beneath it all, oak leaf wine and elderflower. A touch of heather, coconut and condensed milk.
Palate: Medium. Cordial-like in its intensity. Loads of nectarine, dried apricot and mango, over-ripe pineapple, coconut cream and passion fruit.
Finish: Long, the tropical notes fade out on almond flour honey cake, with orange zest.
Comment: A beautifully mature drop that’s only grown more elegant with age.

Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Almond frangipane tart, custard cream biscuits and scraped out vanilla pods. There are orchard fruits, like a waxy red apple and just the faintest hint of tobacco.
Palate: Apple and cinnamon tart now, something vegetal sneaks in, then green tomato stalks too. Hot chilli heat, some oregano and pine wood. Vanilla custard wraps it all up.
Finish: Hot with a mixture of herbs and vanilla as it lengthens and cools.
Comment: Be patient with the warmth to reap the rewards with this one.
