Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Lightly oily: nut oil, mutton fat, vanilla. Ripe and soft, lightly spiced, coconut, peach and malt. Medium-bodied.
Palate: Decent balance. Juicy soft fruits, toasty oak, malt flour. The palate has a kick to it adding interest. Good.
Finish: Dry, short, refreshing.
Comment: Well made. A good session drink. Have it with ice.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fragrant, fruity and floral. Medlar, raisins, stewed rhubarb. A hint of rose syrup. Opens up on bakery notes (ginger biscuits, apple and vanilla flan) and lingers on heady vanilla notes.
Palate: Smooth and soft. But mid palate is flat and watery. Then a pleasant spicy fit of energy.
Finish: Sweet, with a nutty tang. Touch of mint.
Comment: Quite an appetising nose but mid palate is faint and watery. Too quick a dilution?
