Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Lots of sweet vanilla, Mr Whippy ice cream (and the cone, too) and some Parma Violets, candy floss and toffee apples freshly made.
Palate: The sweetness continues with toasted marshmallows, sweet white wine and vanilla frozen yoghurt. It’s another easy and relaxed Irish whiskey, which is perfect over ice
Finish: Sweet, but not over-sweet the dessert wine element lingers with a lovely white grape finish.
Comment: The spirit of Ireland in a glass: relaxed, easy going and fun.
8.5
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Initially honeyed and luscious with white fruit and crisp, but sweet grain notes. Lightly herbal with developing sweet fruit and hints of oak and light smoke.
Palate: A little leaner than the nose would suggest and showing more of the dried fruit grain notes. However it has some pleasant barley, apricot and subtle oak moments.
Finish: Long and lightly smoky with crisp, lightly herbal grain and spices.
Comment: A delightful blend. The grain feels like it has some age and makes up for the lessened malt character on the palate.
