Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant and soft with lemon sherbet, crisp apple/apple blossom. Long and soft.
Palate: Soft with creamy notes. The fragrant spirit and the (apple) wood in superb balance. Attractive and delightful.
Finish: Dry then syrup sponge pudding.
Comment: Lifted and aromatic. Who said malt whisky had to be all about smoke and bluster?
8.0
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Light, dry. Slight burnt grass. Then lemongrass and mint.
Palate: Lightly syrupy. Herbal, minty, rummy.
Finish: Hint of cloves. Warming. Soothing. Very long.
Comment: A pale, shimmery gold dram with flavours one expects from a bigger, darker, whisky. Slightly odd, but enjoyable. Could be a flavoured spirit from a little-known, newly independent republic in Central Asia.
