Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and initally dry nose which sweetens up in time: vanilla/butter, light spice and cereal.
Palate: Fairly dry start: spicy and nutty with lemon-accented fruit then a creamy soft centre. A lovely medium-rich rich nuttiness. Evolves well.
Finish: Soft with a spicy tingle.
Comment: On the lighter side but attractive.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Faintly peaty, herbal. Chinese tea. Jasmine.
Palate: Smooth, dry maltiness. Perhaps that tea was Lapsang Souchong. Then sweeter flavours develop. Darjeeling? Eventually, a honeyish sweetness.
Finish: Flowery. Crisp, clean.
Comment: Feminine. Elegant. Having talked myself into an oriental mind-set, I begin to wonder whether this whisky would accompany some Asian dishes.
