Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Very gentle smoke at first, fresh lit cigars, a touch of sulphur then underneath lurk spices, cardamom, cinnamon and allspice. There's fruit here, too. Roasted pineapples and vanilla cream throughout.
Palate: Follows the nose closely with waves of peat and cigar smoke wrapped around a sweet vanilla, fruit-laden core. There’s a marine quality as well.
Finish: Smoke throughout, a little vanilla, but mostly lingering sweet smoke.
Comment: Imagine a smoked Piña Colada and you are half way there. Lovely stuff.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Orange zest, ripe banana skin and coconut oil with essences of charred oak and struck matches. Finishes with hints of tobacco ash and cinnamon candles.
Palate: Waves of tobacco ash and the bitterness of the pith from an orange peel, followed by hot apple crumble, double cream and rock salt flakes.
Finish: A creamy sweetness to begin with but the ash smoke overpowers it.
Comment: Smoky goodness with a bitter-sweet finale.
