Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Orange zest, apricot, marshmallow maltiness.
Palate: Perfumy, lemon-grass, nuts, fresh leather.
Finish: Creamy, oaky, sappy dryness.
Comment: A lovely delicate interplay of flavours, though the whisky struggles to make itself heard among the woods.
8.5
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A tad sulphury but rescued by raisiny sweetness. Slightly doughy but the sherry does tend to strangle all else.
Palate: Thin and spineless. Beyond the sherry there is not much else for the tastebuds to work on.
Finish: A hint of spice tries to rescue the act.
Comment: The spice is too little too late.
6.5
