Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Seems to be from the same stable as the last one. Levels of sweetness, butterscotch syrup, orange peel, and with water, a nutty maltiness.
Palate: Fatter on the tongue, with roasted spice and some buzzy alcohol. Again, it's young, but there's promise here. Delicate and precise beneath the wood.
Finish: Powdered ginger.
Comment: Clearly a lovely distillate. Hope to see it slightly older and more integrated.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty with an assertive oak note. Opens on fruit. Medlars. Stewed apples. Overcooked plum jam.
Palate: Sweet but crisp. Quite dry. Nutty and spicy. Ground ginger. Water makes the texture smoother. But it enhances the bitter flavours as well.
Finish: Dry, spicy, fizzy.
Comment: Oak is certainly present but does not mask the malty and fruity notes. Elegant austerity.
