Tasting notes
Taster   Becky Paskin
Nose: Bold and sweet, with big chocolate-coated caramel notes, treacle, dried fruits, toasted oak and nutty, peppery rye bread.
Palate: Oily and mouth-coating, that indulgent sweetness continues, becoming more like caramel sauce soaking into a thick slice of warm rye bread, alongside chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
Finish: Peppery and warm, that rye character continues here.
Comment: It has more in common with a low-rye whiskey, but delicious nonetheless.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Werther’s Originals and buttery mint humbugs. Fresh nectarines, peach and jasmine blossom and wildflower honey.
Palate: Peach pie sweetness with buttery pastry. Vanilla fudge and lashings of salted butter.
Finish: Treacle on the finish with gentle aniseed spice.
Comment: Butter in a glass. Moreish, with sweet stone fruits and lashings of honey. This is stunning.
