Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense with a sour note. Cider cellar. Damp wood, stale cider. Almost vinegary. A touch of butterscotch.
Palate: Palate Crisp. Quite harsh with the same woody and sour note. Burnt caramel. Burning. Water brings out sweet notes.
Finish: Dry, tangy.
Comment: On the sour and dour side. Better with water. Cask problem? Disappointing.
6.9
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Soy sauce, a little damp wood and a sweet note that has more mossy tones to it, sort of sweet wet grass. All fighting with a heavy vinegar note.
Palate: Those soy and vinegar aromas come through. Some spices and burnt sugar.
Finish: Drying.
Comment: Takes a lot to get past the vinegar. Odd.
