Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Wonderfully aromatic, full of sugar coated almonds, honey roast peanuts and candied orange peel. Fresh whipped cream, cherry yoghurt and butterscotch sweets.
Palate: Follows the nose in its layers of flavours. Plenty of fresh fruit and citrus notes balanced with a little earthy edge, dried chamomile and honeycomb tea.
Finish: Gentle and full of those chamomile flower notes, then dries leaving sweetness and spice.
Comment: Shows good, careful ageing, with a lovely balance of fruit and spices.
8.8
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Freshly crushed vanilla pods, strawberry ice cream and pistachios at the forefront with a touch of ice cream chewits, dehydrated clementine.
Palate: A mixed bag of stewed plums, fresh clementine, pink grapefruit segments and a hint of candied beetroot. A robust herbal note dominates with pine, bog myrtle and orris root followed by big waves of chargrilled peppers.
Finish: An interesting chalky consistency with a herbal finish.
Comment: Lush and herbal with a balance of sweet and bitter notes.
