Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Mellow, vanilla cream (Chantilly?), cinder toffee, fresh wood shavings, with time fresh coffee.
Palate: Slightly bitter wood at first then bursts of spice, nutmeg, that cream is now acustard note, cooked apples.
Finish: Spicy,long and warming.
Comment: A good whisky that does not really give its age away.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy. Malty. Barley sugar. Pine resin. An earthy note. Wet soil and pineneedles. A hint of linseed.
Palate: Smooth and silky. Some oiliness. Sweet maltiness enhanced by a minty note. Develops on marzipan and soft spices.
Finish: Drier but gentle and delicate.
Comment: A well-structured dram with character and delicacy. Very refreshing. A perfect Speysider to recommend.
