Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Spirity at first, then a herbal barley sugar note comes through. Pear drops.Pine floor cleaner, bags of potting compost. A sharp zesty edge.
Palate: Boiled sweets, a little gobstopper too. Honey roast peanuts. The oak is heretoo with a little bitter edge.
Finish: Warm and sweet.
Comment: The alcohol is well integrated and not overpowering, but a little water helpsthings open out more.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light and fruity. Pears in custard. Some exotic fruit. Getting creamy.
Palate: Sweet, light-bodied. More exotic fruit. The alcohol is very well mastered. Keeps fruity all the way. With a malty resence. Hint of aniseed.
Finish: Medium long, minty. Refreshing.
Comment: A pleasant dram. A touch of water brings out a refined oak frame and beeswax. A kind of spicy fruit salad.
