Tasting notes
Taster   Mark Newton
Nose: Honeyed, with beeswax furniture polish. Slightly buttery, with fresh green apples. Prickly at times, with a lovely chalky minerality. Fades to honeysuckle and grass cuttings.
Palate: Nicer than the nose promised, with good viscosity. Peaches and tangerines riding a wave of floral honey. Vanilla and cloves, acidic, then hints at a bold Viognier wine.
Finish: Beautifully oily, with blood oranges, a touch of lime juice and nectarines.
Comment: Delicious, far too quaffable – this is a perfect dram to start a weekend.

Taster   Laura Foster
Nose: Lemons and sea breeze, thyme and violets, plus bluebells and freesias. Water brings out a pleasing sharp fruitiness akin to orange oils, bananas and just-ripe peaches, plus some pineapple too.
Palate: Heaps of stone fruit, fizzy vanilla soda and a sappy, sticky IPA character with a salty edge.
Finish: A peachy beer cocktail served in a salt-rimmed glass, garnished with a vanilla pod.
Comment: I’ll have mine straight up please, bartender.
