Tasting notes
Taster   Laura Foster
Nose: Light and airy. Lemon sorbet, sherbet, meringue, wet chalk, a sea breeze. Floral liners that your grandma puts in oak drawers.
Palate: All the American Oak up front – whipped cream with vanilla, lemon oils, cardamom, sawdust and funky, sticky hops. Decent medium weight.
Finish: A not unpleasant soapy texture, a zippy sensation on the middle of the tongue. The length is rather short, with final flavours of hops and barbecue rub.
Comment: I really enjoyed the flavour journey, but the length just wasn’t there.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Gentle and soft. Lemon drops, liquorice sweets, and then lavender. A very fresh nose with a light minerality to it, almost fresh washing.
Palate: Huge sweetshop notes based around milk chocolate, caramel and rice crispies. The wood comes through, sweet like fresh pencils. A little oily too.
Finish: Citrus hits and a little honey. Some paprika and a gentle herbal quality.
Comment: Easy to drink, which I mean in a good way. Gentle and very commendable.
