Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Comes across as quite delicate at first. Vanilla, with a little coconut cream and apricot jam. Black tea and a gentle tobacco smoke. Then a little waxy before a hit of chilli spiced honey.
Palate: Full on toffee up front, then vanilla pods in Chantilly cream, and the herbal quality of Chamomile tea.
Finish: Coating and full of toffee and vanilla, reminiscent of Angel Delight dessert.
Comment: A really delightful drop. Starts like velvet but packs a punch. Has a soothing quality, one for a contemplative nightcap.
8.8
Taster   Sam Coyne
Nose: The faintest hint of vanilla, before wafts of melon and white grapes, coated in sugar syrup come to the fore.
Palate: Very gentle – vanilla and chocolate toffees. A little zesty bitterness comes through right at the end.
Finish: Continues very gentle, but now there's desiccated coconut too. Lingers on the back of the throat for an age.
Comment: Not at all up-front and bolshy, but ticks all of the boxes for a go-to dram that you wouldn't turn down in a hurry.
