Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: The yeasty, fresh nose of new make, plus a whiff of peat.
Palate: Again, the dominant impression is of youth. Yeast and vibrant spices.
Finish: Short and spicy.
Comment: Is this old enough to be out by itself?
6.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Phenolic, with turfy smoke. Seems very young, with a sulphury edge. A greasy and slightly feinty note.
Palate: Sweeter than the nose suggests. The peat is better behaved than you expect. Slightly medicinal and slightly better with water.
Finish: Charred sticks.
Comment: Ominously pale and initial suspicions were proved correct. This has been bottled way too young.
