Taster Sara SmithNose:
Bright wood, young leaves, and straw. A bit acidic, but sweet, like homemade jam. Creamy notes after a while, toffee, hazelnut, and coconut at the very end.Palate:
Quite warm at the outset, with a peppery texture, followed by textbook mellow, fresh wood, highlighted by light custard notes and a hint of Brazil nut.Finish:
Oak, vanilla, butter, and a continuation of the jammy notes from the nose. At the very end, this develops into bitter, ash wood with a herbal edge.Comment:
A straightforward, savoury whisky, focused around fresh wood notes.
