Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Fresh pancake batter, then barnyard notes with hay bales, orchard fruits, juicy green apples, honeydew melons and icing sugar.
Palate: Pineapple sweetness, softened down by pear, light smoky incense notes, sweet cinnamon roll, sandalwood and amber notes. Flavoursome warmth with that cinnamon spice and ginger kick.
Finish: Syrupy ginger balls and poached pears for a medium finish.
Comment: A bit of a jumble of a whisky, but enticing and full of character.
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Icing sugar and daffodil, aloe and just a touch of coconut. Emulsion paints and sawn oak.
Palate: Medium bodied. Quite prickly. Honey and pear drop. Plenty of water reveals some unripe watermelon. Hard to discern much else, though.
Finish: Medium. Fades to a delicate green pepper and pear drop.
Comment: Clean and bright, but the heat makes it quite difficult to approach.
