Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Sweet and fruity, with a suggestion of tartness; so much so that it reminds me of ice wine or Sauternes. Honeyed, with lemon and lime peels, a floral element with gentle marzipan underneath. Vanilla seed cakes (sesame in particular) and sultana.
Palate: Viscous and full. White chocolate, elderflower cordial, pear liqueur, more marzipan, white grape juice and red berries.
Finish: Sweet and creamy, with a medium-long finish.
Comment: Has me going back for more.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A wonderful mix of sweetness and dried fruit at first, apricots, pineapple and vanilla sponge cake. There’s crunchy grain notes, malted milk biscuits and pressed coconut pulp.
Palate: That sweetness keeps coming through, raspberry jam, apple compote, Danish pastries and custard with some toasted, sliced almonds.
Finish: A very subtle hit of wood smoke then it all sweetens up for quite a long finish.
Comment: A fresh and engaging drop indeed, perfect as a palate livener before dinner.
