Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Soft and gentle with a light, crisp, cereal note. Water brings out milk chocolate, fruit and sultanas.
Palate: Very soft, gentle and sweet. A ripe whisky with chewy toffee.
Finish: Citrus sweetness.
Comment: A lovely easy going, approachable dram.
7.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Faintly smoky. Sweetish. Lemon zest. Pancakes.
Palate: Assertively sweet. Slightly syrupy.
Finish: Spicy (cinnamon?) dryness.
Comment: The name does not imply a dark whisky - the colour is a good full gold - but the barrel may have been well-charred. There is plenty of juicy wood-extract there.
