Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Bags of fresh bread and warm dough. Then into citrus fruits and orange peel. There is a clear sherry profile.
Palate: Crisp with oak taking the driving seat. This is mellowed by the cookedoranges and dried apricots.
Finish: Dries with the oak.
Comment: A decent dram where the oak dominates nicely.
7.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty. Toffee. Orange custard, A slight rancid note. Sweet jam. Marmalade. This rancid butter note stays in the back. Sherried.
Palate: Smooth at first then getting dry and crisp. Oak speaks up, softened by toffee and dried fruit. A light astringency on time.
Finish: Dry, crisp and astringent.
Comment: The nose is sweeter than the palate. Water takes away some of the astringency but leaves a bitter taste.
7.5
