Tasting notes

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Pear drop and root beer, a brief whiff of nail polish, then shea butter and coconut oil. Sesame oil and ghee. Chamomile tea with honey. Blackberry gummy sweets.
Palate: Medium-light. A medley of candied blackberries and orange segments, sweet ricotta, caramel coffee liqueurs, Medjool dates and salted pistachios.
Finish: Medium. Those caramel-coffee notes play out.
Comment: I could drink this all day. Wonderful.

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: Beautiful dried tropical fruit notes, with papaya chunks at the fore. Then it’s nutty, with walnuts and vanilla pod sweetness.
Palate: Things heat up a touch, with cinnamon spice mixed in with vanilla cream over sticky toffee pudding. The fruit is richer here.
Finish: More sticky toffee to the end, with cinnamon spice and a hint of cocoa.
Comment: This is just a little bit lovely, really easy sipping and something I’d go to for a sweet treat.
