Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Lovely bright hedgerow berries, before moving into deeper flavours of black forest gateaux with all the creamy notes, and then a tropical fruit salad.
Palate: The tropical fruit is back, with pineapple slices in a bowl of syrup, cut through nicely by spicy oak, a hint of tobacco, cherry, and marzipan.
Finish: A really interesting playout here of a tar-like note along with syrupy cherries.
Comment: I really enjoyed the combination of fruity flavours with the darker, more complex notes.
