Tasting notes
Taster   Becky Paskin
Nose: Like bursting into a candy shop: icing sugar, red liquorice twists, pear drops, cola cubes, and red and black gummies. The Jelly Babies are on fire.
Palate: Thick, encompassing Sherried sweetness and oak spice, before those yummy sweeties march in. The smoke intensifies, intertwining with the Sherry and candy until…
Finish: … it’s all smoke, with the memory of an empty Sherry glass.
Comment: Very moreish. Those poor Jelly Babies.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: That ABV punches at first, but giving a little time to open beyond it brings distant bonfires and plenty of sweetness, almond croissants, apricot jam and a little blackberry compote.
Palate: Plenty of stewed prunes, fig jam and wholemeal toast. A little gentle smoked bacon edge with maple syrup.
Finish: Dries with the smoke from an Autumn bonfire, mulchy and full of savoury notes.
Comment: The promises of long, warm Autumn evenings to come in a glass.
