Tasting notes

Taster Joel Harrison

Nose: Very strong tobacco nose which gives rich honey and upside cake, too.
Palate: A well constructed palate of dark chocolate covered cherries, some chilly and oak. A hint of nutella, too.
Finish: Now the nutella is spread across a hot pancake. Lovely stuff.
Comment: A very nice drink, would work well as a neater serve.

Taster Neil Ridley

Nose: More floral elegance, coupled with some characteristic tobacco and vanilla. The fruit is more restrained here, but the creaminess certainly isn’t.
Palate: Citrus notes galore, sour cherries, nutty chocolate and green apple peel. A little cola note develops further down the line.
Finish: Strawberry ice cream and malty wafers, lead to a more musty/mossy note.
Comment: The mossy notes on the finish mask some of the more charming notes on the palate, but well put together on the whole.
