Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Here we go again...the same character, this time with more sulphur, fresh fig, dried fruit and chocolate more depth.
Palate: Oily, similar to the 10 Years Old, slightly thicker. Sweet, caramel, black banana, molasses.
Finish: Thick.
Comment: The base spirit seems very sweet. Lacks class.
7.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: A similar profile as the previous one. More biscuity maybe. Not very expressive.
Palate: Sweeter at start, then becoming watery and cheering up on spices at mid palate. Chestnut purée. Becoming tannic.
Finish: Short, dry, spicy.
Comment: Oak plays a bigger part there. Spices dry up the demerara sweetness. Nothing much to write home about though.
