Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: A little shy at first. Pine and toffee popcorn predominate. Lemon zest and white pepper linger beneath.
Palate: Really sweet and grainy. Custard cream biscuits and sponge fingers. Crème brûlée and stroopwafel. A little oak spice – nutmeg – and milk chocolate, a little coffee. Like a Starbucks eggnog latte.
Finish: Short and very, very sweet.
Comment: Very, very drinkable. One for those with a sweet tooth.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Creamed corn and maple-smoked bacon (the sweet aspect of it). Shades of warm tweed and fresh turned wood. Bundles of wool.
Palate: A great mix like that first forkful of buttermilk pancakes, syrup and unsmoked bacon. There’s some fruit here too, tinned tropical fruits.
Finish: Sweet and clingy, ends with a grilled pineapple edge.
Comment: Great stuff, Canada is really spoiling us again.
