Tasting notes

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: There are citric notes of lemon zest sprinkled across freshly baked shortbread. Scraped-out vanilla pod and apricot sweetness. A bit of fruitcake is developing with some candied peel.
Palate: A hint of dried fruit with dates and prunes before bright nectarine, then a little chewy toffee note. Hay and clover honey.
Finish: A gentle medium-length finish – nectarine freshness lingers.
Comment: Relatively mellow but also something worth trying out as it comes.

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Freshly squeezed green apple juice and underripe pear. Lemon drizzle cake, meadow grasses and spring flowers, especially tulip. Vanilla pod and pencil shavings.
Palate: Balanced and intensely fruity. Apple sorbet and coconut ice. Lemon syrup and orange candies. Gentle tannins add structure.
Finish: Medium-short, those citrus notes linger.
Comment: A stroll in a summer meadow by an orange orchard.
