Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Dry. Warm wholemeal toast with peanut butter. A little lime gives a lift. With water, some suet dumpling and a more varied citric range. A little bitty.
Palate: Fat, with some gentle dark fruit and milk chocolate. Water flattens slightly.
Finish: Bittersweet.
Comment: Quite simple but pleasant.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: On the oak side. Seems young. Sawdust. Cider apples. Medlars. On time a sweet custardy note. Gets better when aerated.
Palate: Smooth. Stewed fruit. A fruity sweetness with this insisting oaky note behind. Water makes it astringent. Watery at midpalate.
Finish: Bitter. Green chewed stalk.
Comment: Lacks integration and subtlety. Maybe too young?
