Tasting notes
Taster   Ian Wisniewski
Nose: Crème brûlée, chocolate, sticky toffee pudding with dried fruit emerging mid-way, accented by citrus freshness.
Palate: Creamy, silky, beguiling, with crème brûlée, fruit trifle, chocolate cake, then luscious fruitiness, orange marmalade, apricots and citrus.
Finish: Subtle, dry oak balances creamy, fruity, citrus and chocolate notes.
Comment: Composed of two distinct parts that add up to an impressive and balanced total.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich, intense. Fruity. Fig molasses. Overcooked plum jam. Prunes. Tamarin juice. Maple syrup. What an aromatic concentration!
Palate: Smooth at first then developing into a dry spiciness. Ginger, tabasco. Dried apricot. A smoky hint.
Finish: Dry, warm and lasting.
Comment: Quite a strong character. Uncompromising warmth. Good balanced. You need to like it hot to enjoy the dram.
