Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Attractive and malty with dry grass, cooked fruit, apple pie (and pie crust) and orange. Mature, but crisp and toasty.
Palate: Sweet as a nut with Highland toffee, a hint of peat and crisp malt.
Finish: Sweet.
Comment: Delicious and very drinkable.
7.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Slightly smoky.
Palate: Sweet, then woodily dry. With water, creamy and much improved.
Finish: Lemon tarts.
Comment: I thought this whisky had died in the bottle, but water brought it back to life.
