Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Rounded with a hint of sweet spice. Sultana, marshmallow, apricot (jam), honey. Beeswax. Big, soft and pillowy.
Palate: Herbs and peach, then orange blossom honey, cherry, apple wood and a smooth waxy texture (candlewax).
Finish: Long, soft, succulent.
Comment: A textural whisky.

Nose: Perfumy. Floral. Lilac. Malt flour. Toffee. Touch of resin. Wet paint. Lime juice.
Palate: Smooth. Mouthfilling. Charming interplay between malty and fruity flavours. Pistachio. Nougat.
Finish: Spicy and dry. Gingery.
Comment: A lovely dram. Well balanced. Water cuts the edges off. Peaceful.
