Tasting notes

Taster Annabel Meikle

Nose: Summer berry fruits and Bakewell tart with raspberry and marzipan. Becomes more fragrant with water yielding old rose and chalky sweets (Edinburgh Rock).
Palate: Warm hickory wood and rosehip syrup, blackcurrant liqueur then roasted sweet pepper, and sweet potato wedges. Slightly medicinal.
Finish: Chewy and soothing.
Comment: I love this, sign me up please!

Taster Joel Harrison

Nose: White chocolate, eggnog, orchids, foxgloves...this is a real delight of a nose.
Palate: Charming in the mouth with more white chocolate (Milkybar end of the scale), some bitter cherry stones, a hint of Mozart chocolate bitters and a bit of raw rhubarb.
Finish: Rasberry pavlova, salted liquorice, caramel and milk chocolate.
Comment: Like walking into a French pâtisserie in a small rural Gascony village.
