Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Very closed at first, this is quite spiritus but opens up with time to reveal grapefruit, fresh linen sheets and vanilla. A hint of salty sea breeze, raw milk.
Palate: Green grassy, young banana skins, black jacks and real lemonade. Again, quite waxy.
Finish: Very little finish but what is there is like a sweet shop, penny sweets and brown paper bags.
Comment: This is a pick'n'mix whisky, a bit rancio on the finish but there are some sweet moments if you look for them.

Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Honey, salted lemon, wet sand, ozone and windswept florals: gorse and daffodils. Flattened with water.
Palate: Salty wood dried out in the sun, hints of liquorice, fresh pear, lemon and lime.
Finish: Drying and hot with some bitterness.
Comment: Quite sharp, it felt like the cask was a little weary.
