Tasting notes

Taster Jim Murray

Nose: A classic amalgamation of prime and old grain. Very sexy, indeed.
Palate: A crisp, clean mouth arrival.
Finish: Oaky tones fill the spectrum from cocoa to vanilla.
Comment: Quashes the theory that grain whisky cannot be taken seriously. Marvelously complex, surely containing the fabulous Cambus. The first classic of its genre.

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Earthy. Surprising suggestions of smokiness.
Palate: Very firm. Steely. Hints of charcoal in the flavour. Roasted peppers. Chilli.
Finish: Very Warming.
Comment: Remarkably flavoursome and enjoyable for a blend of grain whiskies.
