Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Like opening a tin of travel sweets for the first time; boiled sweets, icing sugar and then a sharp tang of gooseberry jam on toasted white bread.
Palate: Again lots of fruit at play here, tins of peaches and tropical fruit – don’t forget the cherry. There’s a spiciness lurking too, chilli Pringles, dry roasted peanuts start to surface at the end.
Finish: Long and lush with those spices being taken over by the fruit.
Comment: A perfect pre-dinner dram. All that fruit is going to set the taste buds begging for more, please.

Taster   Becky Paskin
Nose: Things start out bright and fruity with green and yellow chewy fruit sweets, crisp green apples and zingy kiwi, a yummy creaminess in lemon posset with a biscuit base.
Palate: Creamy fruits with lemon pie filling and chewy sweeties, before an intense maltiness builds alongside black pepper and anise. Kiwi and lime zest take the stage.
Finish: Pastry crust with a splodge of warm apple sauce for dipping.
Comment: Rather like being spoiled by your favourite aunt with all the home baking and sneaky sweeties.
