Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Slightly burnt woody notes, not smoky, just toasted. Grassy notes and green tomato stalks. Boiled sweets covered in icing sugar and cloves.
Palate: Okay interesting, there’s some slight fresh peat, very sweet and moves into mossy bog territory. Some sage creeps in, before fresh pear and Imperial Leather soap bar. Sweet spice and chilli heat.
Finish: That chilli heat and earthy smoked note really lingers.
Comment: Interesting and for the ABV the heat is very controlled. It was unexpected and worth a little time with.

Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Pine needles and manchego cheese, then ripe pineapple and pink grapefruit. Some cut grass and tomato stem with kaffir lime and heather. Vanilla pod, too.
Palate: Light bodied. Starts off delicate, but builds before dropping back. Characterised by citrus: lemon, lime and grapefriuit. Reminds me a little of Fresca soda. A very delicate nuttiness lingers in the back.
Finish: Medium- short. Fades out to limeade.
Comment: Some strong elements are present, but so delicate that water must be used with caution.
